I began doing " Stained Glass " after taking a stained glass class
At Covenant Art Glass , in Everett , WA. about 13 1/2 yrs. ago .
Started creating pieces for family & friends , and friends of friends .
While living & working in Snohomish , as a School Bus driver .
Then my Husband and I wanted a more rural place to call Home .
Hence we found our new " Home " on Whidbey Island .
After a few job changes here on Whidbey , I decided to go
Full time in my glass making passion .
Hence - Sherren's Stained Glass was my new Full time
Business . Then 8 years ago , I took a Fusing class at C.A.G.
A whole new world of creative expression opened up !!!!
2007 I changed my Business name to Sherren's Glassworks .
To reflect the Multi - Processes I encorporate into my glass art work .
Then 2010 my Husband & I went to Las Vegas for the
Glass Craft & Bead Expo , I took 6 very strategic Classes ,
From many Masters in thier field , such as Peter McGrain .
Then in 2011 , my Husband & I , Hit the road for 12 , 2 - 4
Day Festival's , not all Fun & Glory !!!! There is a Work side to it !!!
So we Both decided Not to do that agian in 2012 !!!
2012 was what I call a re - grouping year ...
Local Artisan's , myself include
I strive to bring much joy to people , through my Fused & Stained Glass
Art. I utilize various methods in creating my Handcrafted ,
One - Of - A - Kind glass art . No 2 pieces will ever be the same .
I am very Happy to create Custom or Commissioned pieces .
