Serge Hamad is a French-Algerian self taught visual artist based in NY. His work was exhibited at the SOMArts Gallery in San Francisco, the Seyhoun Gallery, and other venues like Artspace … His donated art was also auctioned at Christies London to endorse women's rights. The artists started photography at a very young age. He used this media to cover war-zones and inform about sociopolitical situations like in Iran… Yet, he also creates light-hearted works. “It’s the child in me that sees the beauty around us.” Says the artist.
Context visualization is what my work is mostly about. The artwork can be abstract or realistic, depending on what I feel would be the best tool/style to express the given thematic. Each of my series describes a momentum that I wanted to share.
