ARTIST STATEMENT

Why be able to create pleasing images and have the patience to execute laborous pointillist drawings, and not be able to work to convert the talents into recognizable gains?Plugging away these years have prepared me to recognize a truly amazing artwork, created (or initiated) by a far superior talent and a much harder worker.  Now I have the pleasure, requiring time and effort, to bring the public's attention to an unknown legacy.
..
“What artist, so noble…directs the shadows of a picture so great that Nature shall be employed upon it for generations, before the work he has arranged for her shall realize his intentions.” Walks and Talks of an American Farmer in England - Frederick Law Olmsted 1852......
...
Hopefully, I will soon be able to return to being another self-absorbed art thing maker.
