ARTIST STATEMENT

Becoming one's own artist is the ongoing challenge of every painter. Whether I am working on a pet portrait, a landscape, or a still life, I am always striving to communicate an inner emotion. This feeling is reflected in the colors I use, the composition I develop, along with my painterly approach. It is these special tools that link the artist, the painting, and the audience.
