Casey Kelbaugh is a New York-based photographer. Kelbaugh was born in 1974 in Princeton, NJ, though most of his upbringing took place in Seattle, WA. He began his career as a painter, and after apprenticing with woodblock printer Sabra Field at Middlebury College and studying sumi-e ink painting under Tousoi Tanaka in Tokyo, he found his voice in photography. He has since been working as a commercial and editorial photographer while continuing to pursue his fine art and personal projects. Most notably, he is the Founder and Director of Slideluck Potshow (http://slideluckpothsow.com), a non-profit arts organization that focuses on building and strengthening community through food and art by bringing localized slideshows combined with potluck dinners to about 50 cities globally. Although he has exhibited, received awards and been published widely, the bulk of his personal work has been geared towards the slideshow medium.
