Vocalist, songwriter, entrepreneur, artist, innovator, communicator, driver for change. Self-proclaimed offbeat and sassy, Amanda likes to think that comes across in her art. Having success remaining true to herself, she takes stock. A lonely life fighting against the grain, Amanda admits she wouldn't have it any other way. Amanda is largely driven and often open expresses the encouragement of others to not lett fear dictate any decisions in life no matter how small. Process wise she has developed a MO that begins with acknowledgment and recognition of a theme within human experience and joyfully proceeding to splash it over a form of outlet artistically. At her absolute core, she is made up of an even balance of business mind, artist eye, and healer heart. Long term goals include improving technology system standards for national institutions. Amanda is also interested in political and education reform.
I have piles of notebooks filled with scribbled pages of quotes that I use to check-in before working on anything creative. Having FUN and mixing things up is my oxygen. Being outrageous with actual supplies I use on my pieces and projects makes me feel like I'm six years old again making mud pies (....."because I am haaaaap-aaaeeeeyy"). Color combinations and bold bizarre mixing of texture and obscure materials is my joy in creation for me.
