SHOW ALERT:
DEANNA LEE AT BLANK SPACE GALLERY

Chelsea, New York, NY

After surviving the holidays and the New Year, what better way to start off 2012 then to come out and support an Artsicle artist? Deanna Lee is showing 6 paintings, opening January 5th at Blank Space Gallery with a reception from 6-8pm. Can't make the opening? No worries, the show will remain up until February 5 at 511 West 25th Street Suite 204. The show is titled TRANSFORMATION, and will feature work from Paige Williams, Caroline Golden, and of course, Deanna Lee.

Deanna's drawing and paintings use a process of intuitive, controlled doodling to create line clusters, often evoking organic forms and natural systems. She is inspired by non-Western art, as well as cartoons and urban graphics. Deanna develops forms to a point of curiosity and tension, with suggested but undeclared identities or purposes. See her work on Artsicle here! Full announcement below!
