SHOW ALERT:
ARTBRIDGE SPRING AUCTION (FEATURING ARTSICLE ARTISTS!)

Chelsea, NY

On May 4th, ArtBridge, the nonprofit community arts platform, will host its first annual Spring Art Auction! Held at the Highline Loft in Chelsea, the auction will be the first time much of the work of ArtBridge emerging artists will be available at auction. Artsicle artists Xanda McCagg, Amanda Valdez, and Deanna Lee will be featured among the other 25 emerging, local artists who have been a part of the ArtBridge mission to connect the public to art over the years.

Works in Progress, a documentary short about the organization and their 2011 downtown Brooklyn installation, will also be premiered at the event on Friday night.  Known for its cutting edge contemporary work, ArtBridge is rapidly growing while maintaining the grassroots philosophy that got them started.  If you’re looking to get a taste of the auction atmosphere but aren’t quite ready for Christie’s or Sotheby’s, this auction is a great place to get your fix while supporting local and emerging art!

Find ticket info here, and look out for the online guide of works and artists being posted next week to preview your selections!
