My current work investigates abandoned urban spaces. Layered paint and textured surfaces become reminiscent of time’s passage on walls and structures. Through this process of creation and deconstruction I explore civic conditions and generate new conversations about what can or cannot be fixed, the legacy of abandonment, the difference between mortality and rebirth, and the reflection of man in his surroundings.
