My work pulses with life, rhythm and change. I have a restless need for change and freedom and I translate these emotions into forms using paint. My sensitivity to change and life, especially my visual sensitivity, informs my work.
I use paint to de-construct form. I do this by applying paint to an object. I then reconstruct the object by either adding to or detracting from the object. I continue to repeat this process and reconstruct the object until the composition has achieved balance in my mind.
My compulsion to reconstruct form and to make art is how I accept and love life's ever-persistent flux. My process is organic as it mimics life's consistent metamorphosis.
