Born in England I spent my early years painting in London. I then lived in Mexico where I discovered the vibrancy and emotional power of color. My early paintings were representational. I slowly moved into abstraction through my interest in the way the human eye can focus on only two degrees of anything. My compositions are rooted in that limitation and become the structure on which to apply my joy and investigation of color. I have lived in America since 1981
