The American Dream and mythological subjects serve as core inspiration in my current work. In my studio no hierarchy or favor has been made between shape and image. Abstract painting has developed concurrently to collage and what I refer to as 'processed imagery'. My work is generally derived from layered information, original drawings, and other media and can be discussed in terms of compiling data as a meaningful intimate form of visual communication. My modest goal as an artist is to embolden the viewer and share my anxieties and humor.
